Holy Guacamole!

This is hands-down my favorite guacamole. After trying this recipe, you’ll never buy it from a store again. You might even be a little resentful of me because most restaurant guacamoles will lose their luster after you’ve tried this one! Get your tortilla chips ready…

What you’ll need:

  •  2 ripe avocados (they’re ripe when soft and a little mushy)
  • 1 ¼ teaspoon lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 teaspoons diced jalapeno
  • ¼ plus 1/8 teaspoon Cumin
  • 2 heaping tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • Dash Cayenne Pepper  (about 1/8 teaspoon)
  • Salt to taste (about ¼ – ½ teaspoon)

What to Do:

Slice avocados in half, discard the seed and scoop out the pulp into a small bowl. Add the lime juice and olive oil and either mash with a spoon or potato masher. Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Serve with blue corn tortilla chips (Trader Joe’s are the best!).
